Easy Camembetter Avocado Toast

The delicacy of the Camembetter, combined with the comfort of avocado and warm toasted bread, all in a quick 5 min recipe. Perfect for lunch, or to make small bites for a (dinner) party! 



🕒5 min         👤Makes 1 double sandwich 



  • 2 slices of your bread of choice (we used sourdough)
  • 1/2 avocado, in slices or mashed
  • 1/4 Camembetter, in slices
  • plant-based butter or oil of choice (butter highly recommended)


  • Lettuce (e.g. aragula, raw spinach..) 
  • Pepper



  • Heat a pan to medium heat
  • Spread some plant-based butter or oil on both sides of both slices of bread 
  • Put the bread slices in the pan and toast until golden brown, then flip the slices
  • Take the bread out of the pan when both sides are golden brown
  • Layer one slice with avocado, Camembetter and (optional) lettuce 
  • Add pepper to taste
  • Place the other slice on top and cut two halves 




  • We have also dipped the sandwich in plant-based mayonaise once and we do endorse this ... ;-) 
  • If you want small bites, slice the 2 halves once again so you get 4 "squares", and put a wooden cocktail pricker in each square so they don't fall over
